FAQ
Questions, Answered Straight
No hedging, no fine print. The questions Atlanta homeowners actually ask us at the estimate.
Fences
How much does a new fence cost in Atlanta?
It depends on footage, material, terrain, gates, and tear-out, which is why anyone quoting you a price before seeing your yard is guessing. Chain link is the budget floor; steel ornamental is the ceiling; wood and vinyl privacy sit in between. We quote exact numbers free, on site. Fence Installation →
Which fence material lasts longest?
Properly installed: chain link and steel run decades, vinyl 20-30 years, aluminum 20+, wood 15-20 with maintenance. Installation quality moves these numbers more than material brochures do.
How long does installation take?
Most residential fences: 1-3 build days once materials are staged. Your quote includes the schedule.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes, tear-out and haul-away are itemized in the quote so you see the line item.
Repairs
Do you repair fences other companies built?
All the time. Most repair calls are for fences we didn’t build, including fixing the original shortcuts that caused the failure. Fence Repair →
My fence is leaning. Can it be saved?
If the posts are sound, yes. If the posts have rotted at the ground line, the Atlanta classic, repair is rented time and we'll tell you so, with both numbers.
Tree fell on my fence. What do I do?
Text photos to 770-688-4843. We document for insurance, provide an itemized estimate for your claim, and prioritize scheduling when pets, pools, or security are exposed.
Gates
Why does my gate sag?
Usually hinge fatigue, missing bracing, or, most often, the gate post moving in the soil. All fixable; the post version just needs to be fixed at the post. Gate Repair →
Do you install automatic gate openers?
Yes, new installs, repairs, keypads, remotes, and safety sensors, for swing and slide gates.
Contracting & Bigger Projects
Are you really a full contractor, or a fence company that does extras?
A full-scale, licensed and insured contractor. Framing, finish carpentry, kitchen and bath remodels, build-outs, and multi-phase property improvements, built by the same owner-led crew. Contracting →
Do you handle permits?
Where required, yes, we confirm what your county and city need (Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb all differ) and manage the process.
Do you work with HOAs?
Constantly. We supply the drawings and specs your architectural review board wants and build to the approved plan.
Process & Payment
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, on-site measure, honest options, written itemized quote. No cost, no obligation, no pressure.
How do payments work?
Smaller projects: simple terms in the written quote. Larger projects: progress payments tied to completed phases, agreed in writing before work starts.
What's the Alpha 100% Guarantee?
If something isn't right, we make it right. The owners who built your project answer for it, that's the whole policy.
